Sprung Diesel Bogie Kits

We offer a range of etched-brass kits for applying sprung suspensions to proprietary, ready-to-run, OO diesel locomotives as part of a conversion to P4 or EM standards.

The kits are designed to provide a straightforward and accessible route to moving a step beyond the simple "drop-in wheelset" rigid conversion to gain the benefits of a compliant, sprung suspension. They also give a complete and reliable solution to the track-holding difficulties which have been experienced with some proprietary rigid six-wheel drive units.
