Compatibility This page gives links to the Service Sheets for the versions of each model that the kits were designed around. You can use them to check whether the form of the chassis and drive units is the same on the model you wish to convert. In some cases manufacturers have introduced updated versions of their models, which the PenBits kits no longer fit. Where this has happened we have given details in the notes below - to the best of our knowledge, as at August 2022…
PK001 PK002	Bachmann Class 47	New models not compatible from circa 2022
PK003 PK004	Heljan Kestrel
PK005	Bachmann / NRM Prototype Deltic
PK006	Bachmann Class 25	Also fits Class 24 models. Does not fit Class 24 or 25 models introduced from 2020.
PK007	Bachmann Class 37 4-axle drive, 6-axle drive	New models not compatible from circa 2021
PK008	Bachmann Class 55 Deltic 4-axle drive, 6-axle drive	Kit also fits bogies with enclosed worm drive (similar to Class 47)
PK009	Heljan Class 35 Hymek - no sheet supplied.	Not aware of any changes
PK010 PK011	Heljan Class 26/27/33: original, upgraded.	The kits are suitable for both the original and the upgraded Heljan models, and all classes are mechanically similar.
PK012	Heljan Class 47 Heljan Kestrel	New Heljan Class 47 models due from Q4 2022 presumed not compatible.
PK013	Heljan Lion
PK014	Heljan Falcon
PK015	Bachmann LMS 10000/1
PK016	Bachmann Class 40: 6-axle drive Bachmann Class 40: 4-axle drive	For the 4-axle drive models, use kit PK017
